I have included 2 screen shots of a dance song.
The first is from itunes and the second from another source.
The bass on the itunes version seems more DISTORTED.
Is it because it is Louder?
Is there a way to measure the highest volume level of a song in Audition?
Is some distortion/clipping on songs on purpose?
Does the RED on the bottom bars mean disortion is occuring? Why if I click on the red it goes away?
I guess my overall question is what causes more distortion especially bass than others. Is it just that Frequency turned up past the threshold?
Any help is appreciated!
