Apple Lossless codec metadata import

I have a large music library (over 600GB) that I need to convert into BWF.  I was hoping to use Audition (CS6) for this conversion as I can't find any other tool that will do it w/o trying to compress it to MP3. (dbpoweramp will only ad the metadata if you compress the audio, which I'm trying to avoid).

Audition will not pick up the metadata in the ALAC files.  It will read the metadata in an MP3 just fine, though.  Will Audition import ALAC metadata?  If so, what do I have to do to make it work.  If not, how can I get the metadata into the BWF/WAV format w/o compressing to MP3 first?
