This is a new problem for me with Adobe CC. In our radio world, we pitch up music "2%" or in Pro Tools terms, "35 cents." It makes the music "peppier" than the competition. Or so "they say." You may hate this practice if you're a listener, but it's a fact of life.
In Pro Tools 8, I could simply pitch it up 35 cents, and it sounds perfect. No artifacts, no noise, just a sped up song. I use NO time correction, just sped it up. The resulting song might be a second or two shorter.
In Adobe Audition CC, I've created a shortcut, using Stretch and Pitch.
I fear it may be caused be the "stretch" feature I've selected. If someone can suggest a better, cleaner way, please do!
