I've tested this several times. Say I want export a timeline from Premiere which uses nested sequences, the only way I can get the underlining individual audio clips from those nested sequences exported onto the maintlime line is exporting via Final Cut XML.
When I import this into Audition, the session automatically shows as 44.1khz, and I'm not even prompted for which sample rate I want to import the clips as (even though most of the clips are 48k)
I've also tested this with exporting a timeline from Sony Vegas via Final Cut XML and importing into Audition, and I receive the same issue. I've even tested this on a different computer all together to make sure it wasn't just my install
If I setup a new multitrack timeline within Audition set to 48k, and try to copy and paste the clips from the 44.1 sequence and of course Audition prevents that from happening.
As a post sound mixer, this is frustrating to no end as the incorret sample rate messes with my time line.
Is there a solution to this problem?
