Audition adding time to multitrack files

When editing a single file, everything is fine. But when I splice the files together in multitrack, audition is adding an extra 3-5 seconds on to the total time.

I haven't changed my settings (at least not on purpose!) and everything seems to be fine on my end.

Example: file is supposed to 59:39 and is when I save it, but when I go to pull the file for transfer, it is 59:43 - 59:45 in length.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
