working with Mackie Universal Control surface

I've recently been given a Mackie Universal Control Surface to replace my old system.

I have pretty much been left to my own devices as far as figuring out how it works with Adobe Audition.

Its hooked up and I have it plugged in to Audition 3.0 but I also have CS5.5

But does anyone have any help or direction for tutorials or books manuals that do more than just describe features..but show how it works?

how were you shown how it works with Adobe Audition.

I'd appreciate help.

otherwise it's just a fancy mixer..
