Hi - I am trying to lock my loops to stay in sync with the tempo of the song. I am dumping each individual sequenced track from my yamaha motif. For example, I record 8 bars of the kick drum pattern and the same for other drum sounds (ie: hi hat, snares, claps). I trim my loops, select loop and drag out to the desired length I want. When I play back the 4 tracks of drum patterns looped, they seem to drift after awhile. Is this not the correct method or should I be saving the loop as .cel first? Is there a snap to grid type feature which will lock my start and end points of my loops to the tempo of the track? My loop editing is very tight but I'm only human so some loops might be a hair off which causes some tracks to drift out of sync. Is there a setting that does this and if so, can you point to where I can find it?
