I recently recorded a bunch of sounds to be used in a video. I used an Oktava MK-012 condenser mic and recorded straight into a Zoom H4N recorder. I recorded in 24-bit 48khz WAV files. When I was listening through headphones plugged into to the recorder, everything sounded fine. When I previewed the files using quicktime just so I could go through and catalog what they were, it sounded fine. When I import the WAV files into Audition, most of them have a weird shaky, ringing type of noise whenever there are deeper, lower, rumbly (for example, recording footsteps) sounds or whenever the microphone was being moved ever so slightly on a boom pole. I thought it was the mic, or xlr cables but they are all brand new and everything sounds fine until I run it through Audition. I'm not very knowledgeable on the sound/audio stuff and this weird sound is in so many of my recordings so any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you!
