Hi,
i'm a little baffled figuring out how to work multicam audio.
We recorded on three camera's locked by lockit's and recorded to samurai's (ssd hdd recorders). The audio engineer recorded a channel of mixed audio to two of the cameras, and each talent mic separately as well (divided over the two cams) and the other camera has an ambiance mic on the front for reference. i created multicam clips with timecode, but as it turns out one of the camera's was not synced properly. So i used the sync to audio functionality. Now, when editing i am a little confused about how to work this properly, as in the edit i can only see the mixed down channel with wichever channel i turn on and off by cmnd clicking on the audio, opening up the nest, i can change what channels i hear.
i figured out i would read the solution somewhere as i could not imagine this would become a problem that could not be easily fixed. So i went and edited everything. Now i am done with editing and i want to send my audio tracks to audition so i can do the audio compression and limiting and such, but i cannot seem to find a way to send my sequence to audition with keeping all audio channels intact? what gives? I cannot cmnd click into the nested multicam clips and just copy paste all audio into my sequence, as that would destroy all my edits.
anyone know how to fix this?
