First off, I'm not an audio person.
Here's my situation. I shot a band during a live performance. While I have audio from the camera, I also got audio from the venue's soundboard, captured on a Zoom recorder.
The performance was about 42 minutes. However, the WAV file I received from the Zoom recorder is clocking in at 32. When I sync up the soundboard and camera footage, the soundboard audio drifts out of sync pretty quick.
According to the software, the WAV file is recorded with a 96kHz sample rate and is 24-bit. (VLC says 32-bit.) The camera audio is 48kHz, 24-bit. I've opened the WAV into Premiere, Audition, VLC and Quicktime, and all say 32 minutes.
I don't know how to fix this. I feel like something is wrong with the WAV file itself.
