So is Adobe only going to release Audition using the subscription model now? Are there going to be no more versions which you can buy and be done with it?
What's irked me is that they never fixed a great number of bugs from 6.0.
And I'm sorry, I will never ever pay $20/month for software when previous versions were only an upgrade fee of -- what was it -- $120 or so? That worked out to about about $5/month using a very generous 2 year upgrade cycle. (Adobe took far longer than that between upgrades. Cool Edit was much faster.)
Audition is great. But not $20/month great.
