im having an issue with some static at the beginning of a track of mine. ive tried everything to eliminate the static i hear when the song starts but dont know where its coming from. i attempted to mute all vocal tracks and just play the beat...when i do that i dont hear the noise at all. but when i play the vocals all by themselves i hear it. at the start of the track...theres actually no vocals it should be completely silent, but i still get the static sound. ive even edited each vocal and went to effects...highlighted the entire beginning before the vocal starts and silenced it. and i STILL hear the static noise...the record button isnt armed...and there should be complete silence. does anyone kno what i can do to fix this...or where the static could possibly be coming from??
ALSO...i DO stack my vocals...so ive got like 5-10 of the same vocal track all stracked ontop of eachother...but when i double click to edit one of those in single track view, i do not hear the static in the beginning...only when im in multitrack view do i hear it. im assuming this may have something to do with it...i just dont understand why that would be if the actual track is completely silent in the beginning, why would i get noise from even 50 tracks stacked in multitrack view..,.
