Okay, some better news than all the Mac flack - iZotope's RX5 ships today, with discounts available until Oct. 21st. RX5 works as either a stand-alone product, or as plugins that you can use within Audition. It's also worth upgrading if you have a previous version - several of the plugins within it have been upgraded.
Yes I use it - yes, it's good. Yes, it does some stuff that Audition doesn't do, and in that sense it acts as an excellent complementary product to it. If you are into any sort of restoration, you should try it, but it can do way more than that; I use it to clean up live recordings made in less than stellar conditions. Also, it has a secondary NR function that works more along the lines that CEDAR's does, if you're into that.
