Hi,
I have some 96kHz 24bit .wav audio recorded with a ZOOM H6 and I am trying to edit in Audition CC under Win 10, but the playback sound I get is really bad, the volume changes erraticly and sometimes it sounds very muffled for a short period of time then it is loud and clear again and then again much lower in volume. When I play back the file with the standard media win 10 music player it sounds ok.
I thougt I had a solution to the problem when I switched the audio hardware in Audition from MME to ASIO the sound in Audition is then fine, but then the sound in Chrome doesn't work anymore. When I then restart Chrome, the sound in Crome works again, but then I have no sound in Audition at all. After a 30s or so I hear a click and then the sound In audition works again.
This is very annoying and I'm still trying to learn how to use Audition and thus need to switch between the browser and Audition to be able to work.
I would be very glad if someone could help me. thanks!
