I recently started using Adobe Audition to do simple recordings (one vocal, one guitar) ive been using this program for about a week now and out of no where, when i get about 1-2 minutes into editing, i get an error message saying "adobe audition has stopped working" and it closes the program. im not doing any elaborate editing, just some reverb, and some level changes. im using a mix between scarlett plugins and the effects that come with the program. im on a PC with windows 8.1 and all of my drivers and updates are current, including the latest update from Audition. this problem was occurring before and after the most recent CC update. ive tried restarting the computer and ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program. i cant even be in the program long enough to make a preset from the most recent settings ive been using.
