win 7 64 bit cannot record from internet

Win 7 64 bit. No stereo mix. Audition cc 6 version 732

I cannot record from the internet. Presume it is because I do not have stereo mix.

Recording AnvSoft Virtual sound device as default

Playback High def audio device - speakers

I have done number 1 and 3 above without success. What does number 2 mean? What other applications?

Also:- should I be able to play an mp3 in Audition and record it with Audition at the same time?
