Anyone willing to give me a “quickie short course” on the following topic.

I’m trying to lower the pitch of a  variety of songs.  I load them into the “Phase Analysis” screen and, under “Time and Pitch” I click on “Stretch (process).

On that screen I click on “Lower Pitch” which is an option in the “Presets” box in the upper right corner.

On the left at setting comes up automatically with a Ratio of 134.

There is also, among other things on the screen, a drop down menu which appears to permit you to transpose the music to a different key.

On the lower portion of the screen are precision settings which I have set to HIGH PRECISION and under “Stretching Mode” I selected “Pitch Shift (preserves tempo)”.

My questions: Am I getting the best quality duplication with these “lower pitch” settings?

What pitch is it lowering to automatically?

Is there anything else I can do to increase the quality?

Any  advise to help me tweak for better quality would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
