Does Adobe Audition have the equivalent feature to Wavelab's "Insert Silence (Advanced)"?
Instead of true silence, this feature allows you to select a room tone audio file. You then highlight a section, hit the assigned shortcut, and the section is replaced with the same length of room tone. You can also create additional shortcuts to insert specific lengths of room tone file.
I'm looking to switch to Audition, but not having a similar feature is a dealbreaker. It's indespensable for removing breaths and noisy pauses in audio books.
