Did a search in the forums here and elsewhere online, didn't seem to find the answer... though quite a few people asking. I have a single WAV file recording that I've split up into individual named tracks using cue markers. Each marker is named as the track title, as outlined in Adobe's how-to videos. In the Metadata panel (Cmd/Ctrl+p) global ID3 tags include Artist, Album, Date and Genre. If I added a title or track number, it gives me the same title or track number for everything when exported.
When I export "Audio within Range Markers", with "Include markers and other Meta Data" checked, I get almost what I'm looking for but not quite. It exports individual mp3 files named by marker (as per my settings). The ID3 tag Title, however, isn't populated with the marker title and Track Number is always left blank.
Is there no way to export from a WAV to multiple MP3's with complete ID3 data? If the title and track number cannot be auto populated by, what I'd assume would be the marker title, is there a way to set individual track ID3 tag data in the master WAV file that'd carry out when exported?
I'm using Audition CC on Mac OS X 10.8. I don't see complete ID3 tag data in VLC, iTunes or in file properties.
Thanks for any help, or if someone can point me in the right direction.
Here's a visual of what I have set up:
Update:
Unable to find a viable solution within Audition itself, I'm using the free app MusicBrainz Picard which seems to do the job a bit quicker than VLC does. It's unfortunate to have to rely on a third party app for something like this especially since there is some ID3 tagging capabilities already in Audition. Hopefully I'm just missing something, would love to have these "Master WAV" files with all this data already there in case I have to re-export in the future..
