Most Audition users are cleaning up audio that has a bit of unwanted noise. We are cleaning up audio where the signal is often below the noise. Echo reduction is often a big part of this process.
Using Audition CS6 adaptive noise reduction it seems that some echo removal is happening. It would be good to have a more controllable way to effect this process however.
We use hardware from dacaudio.com wich uses a cepstrum-like process to identify echo characteristics then remove echoes with a tapped delay line. It seems that the power and great user interface of Audition would work well in this area but I can't quite locate effects that do what I am looking for. I'd like to use Audition for the task.
Any ideas?
