Audition CC to Premiere problem

I edit videos in PremiereCC and use Audition CC for mixing. For months I have been able to export from Audition to Prmeiere directly, whereby it creates a new track in sync in my Premiere sequence. During the course of editing in the last week it stopped working. Now when I export from Audition using the Multitrack/Export to Premiere Pro command it simply imports the mix into the project panel without creating a new track. I have deleted preferences etc and tried it on both Mounain Lion and Mavericks partitions. I am stumped.
