I had a Tascam dr-40 solo for recording audio for a film documentary which I placed directly infront of the people that I was interviewing on a table. A family of six which spoke on camera for four hours. In post before I edit I need to make sure the audio from this interview is usable. Other then noise reduction process effect, I do not know of ways to cleanup this audio. there are still some elements like background appliences hum and big wind noises coming from the overhead fan.

Can anyone take a stab to isolate the mother talking in this audio clip using Audition and tell me the process on which they ochieved it so I can apply it to the rest of the audio?
Thanks!
