Problem with latency in multitrack session - Please help!

Hi people, i'm new here and I'm really struggeling with something and its so frustrating. First, this are my specs:

Desktop computer:

Win 7 64 Bit

16 GB RAM

Intel Core i7 4770K CPU 3.5z

Two SSD HD, one internal and one external

Focusrite Forte USB 2 soundcard

2 Røde NT3 condensator michrophones

Adobe audittion CS6

I also got a DELL Presision Laptop:

  • Intel
  • Core i7
  • 4702MQ

16 GB of ram

SSD HD

Windows 8.1 Pro 64  bit

I got the same problem on both computers and use the same soundcard for both of them. ok on to the problem. When I record in multitrack, everything works fine for the first track, an example is i record my guitar on track 1, just simple fingerpicking for a minute or two. Then I want to record a second guitar in track two, and listen realtime to track 1 while i record track two ( using headphones)

The microphones are connected to the tow phantom power inputs on the soundcard, ( guitar not connected directly to the soundcard, ive tried this and it sounds awful compared to using the phantom and two michrophones )

When i play track1 and two togheter after recording there is a horrible  latency, its so bad it sounds a mess, Ive tried everything, MME driver, Asio driver in Windows, Asiofor all, ive set the setting in Focusrite Forte and latency to 1ms and got the latest sotware for the soundcard and all updates for windows up to date.

I dont understand i never had problems like this even 7 - 8 years ago with much cheaper equipment, is it anything i'm missing here? So frustrated. Is there a way to synchronize these tracks afterwards like the "Merge" function for videos in Adobe Premiere CC? If someone out there could help me solve this i would be so greatful

Cheers
