Hi first an excerpt from the help page:
"Fix By (Delete Silence only)
- Choose Shortening Silence to reduce silent passages to the specified number of milliseconds. Choose Deleting Silence to mute silent passages but retain file length. (Deleting silence helps maintain video synchronization with audio clips in video editing applications.)"
- This option actually doesn't work that way. When you click 'Delete All' it physically deletes the pauses, in consequence shortening the file. Any chances for fixing this to work as intended - so applying mute on the silent parts?
