When using mulitple monitors Audition will flicker a few times at start up, take longer to start up and frequently crashes. When using just one monitor, Audition launches just fine. We are running Windows 7 Pro on Lenovo T430's with nVidia NVS 5400M card. I also have a few Lenovo X230's that only have Intel Graphics. When using multiple monitors with Intel Graphics, it works just fine.

Audition will not open a new file & displays "one or more files are actively processing jobs. Please cancel these jobs or wait for them to finish."
Any thoughts as to what may have happened ? Everything was fine but nothing I do will alter its state of "mind"

Premiere and Audition HELP needed!!
I'm either being a muppet or it's just not working as intended!
Trying to do a simple export of a 10 min sequence from Premiere to Audition so I can (obviously) do the audio mix. When I do that everything goes fine except, there are NO clips in my Audition timeline! I have blank multitrack mixer Absolutely no idea what to do?!

I need to make visuals of interesting changes of the fundamental blue line to document my findings in articles. It there a more sophisticated way of doing this than taking a screenshot? It is very short sequences consisting of a few words that I need to somehow visualise on a hertz scale.

What causes the audio peaks in an audio file to be louder in db below the 0 db line vs above the 0 db line and how do you fix it.
I have an audio file I am working on where the average volume is -3 db below the 0 db line and -6 db above the zero db line. during the entire duration. Typically the volume above and below 0 db is "equal". -3db above and below 0 for example.
Rather odd. I checked DC offset and phase and that is ok.
Is this something that can be corrected.

Create multiple crossfades in Adobe Audition
I've edited an interview in Audition and have taken out all of the "ums", "ahs" and long pauses, resulting in a 40 minute clip with over 300 edits. I'd like to put a 4 frame crossfade between each edit, I find it works like a charm to smooth out the cuts. Is there a way to add a fade like this without doing each one individually? It would be very time consuming using the typical Audition method. Seems it would be pretty cut-and-dry, but I've done a lot of searching and haven't been able to find anything.
I realize I could easily do this in Premiere by holding Cmd, highlighting the edits, then pasting a crossfade... then exporting to Audition. But instead of always round-tripping stuff, for some projects I'd like to just stay in Audition. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Audition CS6 plugin scan freezes and/or crashes the system
It seems that every time I try to scan for VST-effects, Adobe Audition either hangs at 0% or freezes my system by loading 6500+ processes and using 100% of my system memory (16Gb).
As a result, it can't find any plugins.
I have tried these solutions:
- Moving VST folder to another drive and scanning it there
- Trying to scan just one empty folder
- Updating to the latest version of Audition (problem existed before and after huge Adobe update)
- Tried to have only certain, guaranteed to work plugins in the folder
- Running Audition as system admin and making sure that folder is readable
However result is always the same: no progress or system slowdown leading to crash.
My system is Win7 64-bit.
Is there a fix or at least a theory what the problem might be?

Help with Uninstall
I had some sort of audio bug in my audition, and the tech support guy ended up doing stuff with my libraries, and pointing to version 1 vs. 2, and on and on.. well now, after a an update on my mac pc, nothing is pointing to the correct directories, all of my favorites are missing again. I want to just uninstall it entirely and start clean. But I have a SSD drive and an OS drive and I can't figure out how to completely uninstall.

How can I record sound with 176,4kHz and 192kHz with Audition?
How can I record sound with 176,4kHz and 192kHz with Audition on a MacBook Pro (Late2011, OS 10.10)?
I have bought a ADICON Analog Digital Converter from SSB AUDIO (ssb-audio.com).
This device supports 44.1, 48, 88,2, 96, 176,4 and 192kHz 24Bit sampling in Audio Class 2.0.
Sampling with Audition works perfect between 44,1 and 96kHz. As soon I try 176.4 or higher, Audition says that the Input and output device does not have the same sampling frequency.
Saying that, the Mac output device is the build in audio and is limited to 96kHz. In my case I do nit need a output device, because I only want to record my music in the highest available sample rate, transfer it to the PONO player from Neil Young and want to be happy.
Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

Exporting multiple tracks and they all become silent
I have dozens of little sound clips all layed out in multiple tracks and when I select them all and do a mixdown export via selected clips, the clips are all silent.
In the mix down option just before export I chose all the tracks the selected clips are on rather than from Master as Master takes the length of all the clips together and export it as one.
So how come they are silent? I've tried changing the out put of each track to master, to the speakers it self and it still exports silently.

Audition CS6 Crashing- Multitrack Mixdown
When I export to a multitrack mixdown and select that I want all of the tracks as individual files, Audition crashes 3-5 minutes after starting the process.
