I don't have a output signal when using MME device (which I always use)
I noticed that the Microsoft Line Audio Codecs that is being activated when I plugin my Lenco Digital record player gives a migration error in Windows Device manager.
Is this an Adobe or Microsoft issue???
A Microsoft Technician worked remotely on my laptop, last week, regarding this issue, but no solution.
Can anybody help or advice.
I record a podcast with call in guests. I use a Mac > Adobe Audition 2018 > Presonus Fire Studio Mixer > Skype. I recently updated Audition to 2018 and everything was working correctly. Today I started a podcast and my guest's track won't record his voice. Oddly it recorded the call in sound Skype makes but once he connected, it would not recognize his waveform/voice. It worked yesterday but not today. Any ideas? I'm dead in the water.

I switched to Maximum Editing mode, then closed the mixer panel because it gets in the way of source material on my second screen. Figure it's easy to get back, but I can't figure out how. Thanks
Hello! Recently I downloaded a t.v series that had a 5.1 Audio source and whenever I play it through the waveform the vocals are always taken out how ever. When I export the Audio it exports it through the multitrack which then the vocals are still in the audio. I'm trying to sample a song so is there any way I could get the best audio with no vocals without having to try and duplicate the audio in multitrack. I am currently using Audition CC 2018 thanks! ~Anthony
I try to open an .mp3 file (that was recorded on an iPad with standard voice recorder app) in Audition. The mp3 works fine in Gmail preview.
After trying to open the .mp3 I get this error:
Error: Apple AudioToolbox cannot open the specified file. Error Code: 'dta?'
How can I solve this and work with the .mp3 in Audition?

Got a noise print for a Track, and then went through my favourite saved process for the clip. Uploaded another clip and I keep getting the 'Noise print is incompatible with this file'. Files are from the same source, and I have tried to open in new projects, multi tracks but now all I get is this message, what have I missed in the process?
What value should I type in when raising pitch from 440 to 444HZ? I use -0.31 in pitch shift when going from 440 to 432. I appreciate your feedback in advance.
I need to change the frequency of synthetic speech. I know how to find the current frequency of my selection but the only way I can find to change it is by using the Time and Pitch function which changes frequency by semitones and doesn't allow me to set a desired new frequency level. Is it possible to do this with Audition?
Is there any possibility to change the tuning standard calibration A4 440 to some other values, say A4 420Hz for the spectral interpretation?
In other words I would like to shift the frequency axis for a music piece, without changing the pitch or anything else, but just to interpret the frequencies differently.
Thanks for any feedback.
Hi, this is a concern that's been bugging me a bit so I wanted to ask, if I import any kind of audio, does the original audio where it came from stay as it is? I'm asking because when I drag an audio file into Audition, it converts the audio into the WAV format. So just to be sure, does the original audio stay completely untouched, or could there be any slight change in quality from the source file?
Thanks
Hi,
Can notes be played within Audition to record? I'm interested in creating some horror ambience sounds.
If not, would a good way to start off be by generating noise through the effects panel and then trying various effects?
Many thanks
Hi, I was working on a multitrack project in Audition. It crashed in between.
I am unable to get the last edits I have made to the project. Basically, I have lost 4 hours of hard work.
I have tried the backup file project, last saved project. Nothing works. Somebody, please help
I've been searching the internet trying to find out if Audition can create the DVD-Audio format. I have a phono amp that I can connect to my MBP and record audio from vinyl, but still have questions about how to capture and save it as a 24-bit DVD-Audio DVD (not an audio-only DVD-Video disk.) Also wondering, do I need special media for this, or is DVD-R they type of disk used for Audio-DVD? Thank you very much for your help!
I've just switched from CC6 to CC. The first problem I'm noticing is that Rack Mix is not working right. I have a track with a reverb in effect. And even when I turn the Rack Mix down to 0%, the effect is still going strong.
In other cases, when I manage to get it to obey the Rack Mix values through automation, it's way off. Like, I have to move the keyframes a good 30 seconds later than when I want them to take effect. It's just crazy, and really seems to be not working right.
Am I alone? Am I just not doing something right?
I am trying to edit a podcast but every time I use ripple delete, Audition crashes. Every time. I am happy to send someone, anyone, the crash report. I just can't figure out what's going on.
Before I set about the painstaking task of manually duplicating (and translating) all my keyboard shortcuts for my Windows installation of Audition CS6 to my Mac version, is there any way to do this automatically or even somewhat automatically? I'm using Windows 10 and Mac OS X El Capitan, if that makes any difference.
Thanks Audition folks!
When I migrated data on my Mac over to HighSierra from Yosemite, I migrated CS5.5. Due to incompatibility issues, I want to uninstall the programs. The uninstaller won't work. How can I uninstall the programs? A page on the Adobe website says that one shouldn't simply drag it to the trash. What should I do?
Hi,
I'm editing spoken audio in Audition CC.
How come Audition can't fast forward (while pressing L on timeline) spoken audio without making it sound like Donal Duck (high pitch), while Premiere etc. can do it?
Or is there a way around this that I am not aware?
Hello everybody.
I have one concerns, I am an editor and I got back an interview made by Skype in which there was a problem of transmission of the sound. It can't have been resolved at the time of the recording for lack of time of the interlocutor. Can we do anything in post--prod? I don't in which direction to manage me to solve at least partially the problem.
I join an extract of the sound wav :
