After applying the default Noise Reduction, the noise is still very audible at the tail end of every phrase (spoken word). I'm not sure why the noise isn't being eliminated at those points. How can I get the Noise Reduction process to eliminate all noise, even the noise at the end of a phrase?

How can I add just the opening of an effect window to Favorites? For example, I just want to open the Noise Reduction effect with one click. Then I will do the actions of capturing the noise print and picking the level on NR, etc. from there.
So far, I've only seen how to "record" a favorite, which seems only to apply a very specific action of applying an effect without letting me choose settings, etc.
If I've misread this, please set me straight. Thanks!
I am trying to create a favorite that will reduce any selected length by 50% (stretch 50%), but it always remembers the original selection length and won't work on any other selection.
Back in the day, I had a favorite that would reduce amplitude by -3db and stretch any random selected length by -50%, all in the one favorite.
I could use it on any selection I made.
Is there a way to get the latest Audition to do that again?

Praticamente quando vado ad esportare l'intera sessione composta in totale da 8 tracce, mi esporta solo la traccia primaria (la base della canzone) e non mi esporta le altre tracce registrate con il microfono. Non so cosa fare, ho provato a selezionare tutte le clip ed esportarle ma ho sempre lo stesso problema, anche selezionando tutto il tempo, come posso risolvere?
Hi, I'm using Audition CC 11, in the "Audio File" mode. I want to do something that I think should be really simple, which is to save a copy of the current WAV file I am working on as an MP3. The best way I've found to do that is File > Export > File, but that defaults to appending a "_01" suffix to the file name of the MP3 file. For example, if the file I am working on is "Song.WAV" and I export, I get "Song_01.mp3".
I really it's easy to rename manually but I do this often and would rather save a step. I'm also wondering if maybe I'm missing something about what the export feature is designed for (i.e., what is the use case where you'd want the _01) and if there's a better way to do what I want?

I am pretty sure this topic has been beaten to death already, and there is a simple fix for it, but I failed to make a perfect clean up for the audio. I have an audio, with one person speaking but the bg noise is sooooo loud and his voice is so low, I could barely make any changes without not altering his voice. As you can imagine, it sounded robotic and alienish.

I was working on a session yesterday. And AGAIN, I closed it, opened it this morning and was greeted by this:
I've lost all the files. They're there. Just all closed. This is happening SO often now. Sure, I can go back and re-link them one at a time, but I don't have time (OR THE DESIRE) to do that.
Am I the only one with this problem?? Am I cursed?
I'm on a Mac, 10.13.4, running Audition CC Build 11.1.0.184.
I tried Adobe's chat tech support, he remote connected me amd had no solution.
I connect the Presonus Faderport (single channel) the exact way Adobe's control surface support page tells me to.
Nothing at all works.
It is a lie that Audition CC offers "native support" for the Faderport. The instructions do not work, and Adobe's own tech support chat could not figure it out.
Are there any work-arounds?
Even the "button assign" section has ZERO of the Faderport's ACTUAL buttons. Crazy that adobe promotes native support, I spend all this money and its not true. PLEASE help.
Hey, so recently I have been having some trouble when exporting tracks (radio promos) from Audition. I have had two separate problems that both involve the changing of sound from the preview to the exported track.
My first issue is a multitrack session with EQ automation in it, it works and sounds great in the multitrack session, but when exported, the EQ automation is no longer on the track. How do I export a multitrack mixdown where tracks retain their automation? (for the record, there is other automation in this session which does work, such as effects rack mix.
My second issue is a processed voice over that sounds perfect and crisp in the multitrack editor, but on export sounds odd and out of phase? I have tried reversing the phase, and it still sounds weird. I tried bouncing the track to another and the bounced track sounds out of phase as well. The same goes for if I mute everything and export it, still out of phase.
This can't be problems with the software I am playing it back on because 1) everything else in both of these promos sounds exactly the same and 2) I'm playing the clips back in audition.

I need help I accidentally deleted the Hip Hop Vocal Chain preset from the effects rack.
I had to replace a clip in one of the track, so I grouped everything after that clip so they stay in place. But after I ungrouped them, they all became the same track but with the right in and out points. Is there anyway to fix this? I'm using the CC 2019 version

I have some projects with CAF files in it.
Everything it was working perfectly on the CC 2018 (v11.1.0), but since I upgraded to CC 2019 (12.0.0 or 12.0.1), these CAF files hasn't been reading.

Just upgraded from AAV3 to the latest AA CC 2019 and now I can't open any of my previous projects, I get 4 error messages in a row -
The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP71.dll was not found.
The code execution cannot proceed because SharedControls.dll was not found.
The code execution cannot proceed because AuditionUtil.dll was not found.
The code execution cannot proceed because UIToolsShell.dll was not found.
It suggests I uninstall and reinstall , done that and the messages still appear and I can't open any existing projects. Any ideas ?

After a year of flawless movement, Audition's playhead today started moving jerkily.
For any audio editor to function AT ALL, it has to have some graphical element (Audition's "playhead"), that moves instantaneously along the waveforms, matching the sound being played over the PC to the waveforms associated with that sound. The work I do in Audition is IMPOSSIBLE without this most basic function.
For the first year of steady use, Audition did this perfectly. But today, mid-session, it shifted to jerky movement. Now it jumps position every 200 to 400 ms, then freezes in the new position, motionless until the next jump (200-400 ms later).
This started occurring midway through Audition editing work on a single .wav file today. One moment the playhead position was moving normally. The next, it only moves by jumps and freezes.
I had nothing else running on my PC. I have not recently installed any new hardware, software, driver updates, or accepted recent updates to Creative Suite. My PC is an overbuilt home build with heavy resources, which has run Audition flawlessly for the last year. There is ~900 GB free on the main SSD pair (2x1TB SSDs in RAID0). Audition's user temp files are tiny. Malware seems unlikely; I use Norton 360 religiously, and was not downloading anything when the stuttering started occurring.
I tried opening different .wav files in Audition. With one smaller file (a ~2.5 min long mp3), I got a ~1-2 second period of somewhat smoother (but not the usual perfectly smooth) movements at the very start of playback. But immediately after that, the playhead's movement reverted to all stutters, even when I "rewound" the playhead to start of the file (where it briefly had moved smoother).
So for right now, Audition is dead to me. This is major concern, since I have many projects in the works. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Hope someone can help? Every time I open Adobe Audition, it opens partly on-screen, partly off-screen. The header bar is hidden behind the Mac OS header bar so I can't grab that to move it back on screen. Its window size is deeper than the Mac's screen, so I can't grab the corner to try and minimise it and move it back on-screen that way. Due to the set-up of Audition, every time I try to grab the main 'black' space it just pulls a section out and again not possible to move the main window back on-screen.
I'm not having this problem with any other Adobe package!? I think this is happening because I use 2 screens in the office but I always quite all applications and turn off my Mac before taking it out of the office.
I've tried quitting and reopening the application but the same problem keeps occurring. I've tried restarting the Mac and turning it off and on again but keeps happening. I've looked into the display settings in preferences but no joy! I've tried disabling Mission Control in Hot Corners but it still opens off-screen! I've looked a lot into Audition's 'Window' and 'View' settings but nothing seems to bring it back on-screen!?
Any/all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Unless I'm missing something, it appears the Randomize Track Color option has been removed in Audition 2019/Appearance? Personally I don't care for multi-tracks populated with randomly selected funky colors. I realize how others might find it efficient. I would prefer a static color option allowing for possible customization after creation. All subjective, of course. I've sent feedback.
